The town of Enfield survived the brunt of the blizzard, with no power outages or downed lines reported.
Police Lt. Steve Kaselouskas said a few cars ventured out and became stuck, but the majority of residents heeded Gov. Dannel Malloy's call to stay off the roadways.
The Emergency Operations Center, based at the police department, was still monitoring the storm situation Saturday morning, Kaselouskas said.
A possible water main break took place Saturday morning near Brainard Road and Debbie Lane, but Kaselouskas said he had no further information at this time.
