The Star Hill Athletic Facility bubble collapsed Saturday night from this weekend's heavy snowfall, according to Star Hill's General Manager Nick Odell.
No one was injured from the collapse, Odell said.
Odell explained that the bubble was the only part of the building that was damaged. He anticipates that the fitness center will be open to the public on Monday.
Staff will be assessing the situation for the next two days before commenting further, Odell said.
Star Hill opened in Tolland in 2009. The weather-protected bubble contained basketball courts, volleyball courts, turf field and an indoor track.
