Snow removal in progress.

Up to 40 inches of snow fell on Connecticut between Friday and Saturday, with most of the state receiving at least two feet of the white stuff.

The historic storm set records and, in most places, deposited more snow than the Blizzard of 1978, according to wxedge.com.

Snow plow drivers, who started working Friday morning, still hadn't reached many side roads by Saturday night, leaving some residents feeling trapped and frustrated.

What was your experience with getting plowed out? Do you think the towns did the best they could to manage an extraordinary weather event, or could they have done more?

Take our poll and tell us in the comments where you live and what you experienced.
