Medical Oncologist Jay Thumar, M.D. with the Johnson Memorial Cancer Center will discuss risk factors, screenings and common myths and facts associated with cancer on Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. A light dinner will be served. “Argo” won Best Picture honors at the Academy Awards. See the movie at the Enfield Senior Center on Thursday, March 21, and enjoy a Quesadilla as well. Tickets are on sale for dinner and a movie for $5. Movie tickets only may be purchased at the door for $2.
If you enjoy Ballroom Dancing, join us on Friday, March 8, at 2 p.m., for our Afternoon Ballroom Dance. Richie Mitnick plays the music and a snack is provided at the break. The cost is $3 at the door.

The Mature Driver Safety Program is being offered on Friday, March 15. Register in the Senior Center office for this free assessment. A $5 gift card to Dunkin Donuts will be provided for participation.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Full Gael playing traditional Irish music. There will be a bit of blarney and some Irish jigs. Enjoy a traditional Irish meal of corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots and a special dessert also. The wearin’ of the green comes to the Enfield Senior Center on Friday, March 15, at 5 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $15 per person.
Summer is just around the corner, and it’s time to start planning your summer vacation. We are hosting a trip to Cape Cod & Nantucket Island on August 11-13, 2013. This 3-day adventure will include a performance by the Boston Pops, featuring conductor Keith Lockhart, in Hyannis. A lobster dinner in Osterville and a Cape Cod sightseeing tour of the Outer Cape, along the National Seashore, is also included. Cost: $529 pp/dbl.
