An Enfield man has been arrested by state police in connection with an attempt to arrange a sexual meeting with what he believed to be a juvenile female.
Jeffrey Moran, 59, of 15 Dover Rd., was charged Wednesday with criminal attempt at enticing a minor and two counts of criminal attempt at impairing the morals of a minor. He was held on $25,000 cash/surety bond, and will be arraigned Thursday in Meriden Superior Court, state police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said in a news release.
The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit conducted a criminal investigation of Moran after he allegedly used sexually graphic images to attempt to entice the juvenile, and then drove to meet the girl at her residence, Vance said.
