Enfield will commemorate the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks Tuesday with a procession and ceremony.
The procession will step off at 6 p.m. from the Porter & Chester parking lot on Weymouth Road, and continue to the Enfield Fire Station #2. A ceremony will follow in the 9/11 Memorial Garden on the fire station grounds.
Local dignitaries, including Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, will once again partake in the remembrance.
The 9/11 Memorial Garden includes a pair of steel beams that had been part of the World Trade Center north tower. They were unveiled one year ago, on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.
