Several police officers and Enfield citizens will be recognized for efforts above and beyond the call at the annual Enfield Police Department awards ceremony Friday.
Among the awards to be presented are commendations for the Eli Lilly investigation, as well as some citizen awards.
The festivities will be held at the Holiday Inn on Brightmeadow Boulevard, beginning at 7 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.
