[Updated, 6 p.m. Thursday] The South Windsor police department has an arrest warrant for a suspect in the assaults that took place on Tuesday night at Forced Induction Motorsports on Edwin Road.
The suspect, according to Sgt. Scott Custer, is Nathaniel “Nate” Chambers, 27, of 144 Pratt St., Apt 2H, in Meriden.
Chambers, who according to police was in the National Guard until September 2012, is wanted for conspiracy to commit assault in the first degree and conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree.
The two photos included in this article show Chambers with a beard recently and one without.
Anyone with information about Chambers’ location is requested to contact the South Windsor Police at 860-644-2551.
This case investigation is still active and police are pursuing information on other possible suspects.
"We know he was there with someone else and we are working on identifying that person as a witness or suspect," Custer said in an e-mail message to Patch.
A Facebook page has been started called "Pray for Bob and Ryan" that is providing updates on the conditions of both victims, Forced Induction Motorsports owner Robert Lareau, 28, of Enfield, and employee Ryan Kelleher, 21.
According to the page, Kelleher is in stable condition, while Lareau is still in intensive care, though his condition had improved somewhat.
A vigil is also planned for Saturday at 7 p.m. at Forced Induction Motorsports, according to the Facebook page.
